Salt & Sand Blog Hop

Since signing up for this blog hop "circumstances of life" have changed around here at the moment and sewing time has been severely limited so instead of pulling out of the hop I decided to revisit a previous item made that I think will fit in perfectly with the theme.      I made a series of Sunbonnet Sue wallhangings to represent each month of the year for my granddaughter's bedroom a few years ago and the one for November  was called "Seaside Sue".    November is the month that we in Australia start to think about heading back to the beach as summer in only a month away.

Time to head on over to the following blogs to see more Salt and Sand.

  12. Sue by the Sea is such a sweet stitched wall hanging. How fun to have one for each month of the year. It is always fun to revisit previously made works and be reminded of the enjoyment of stitching at that time.

  15. What a lovely piece. I love the use of seaside fabrics throughout. It's funny for me to think of November as beach weather, as that's when it starts to snow for me in Canada :D.

  31. Sunbonnet Sue is perfect for sand and beach even though November isn't right here in the Northern Hemisphere. I have another friend in the southern hemisphere and it's such fun to see that we're just the opposite with the seasons. Get out there again before it's way too cold to enjoy!!!
