Hubs and I went out to lunch yesterday for Christmas in July
Needless to say the kitchen was closed except for a toasted sandwich so extra time was spent in the sewing room finishing off the purple potato chip block
As well as tying off and burying the ends on another small quilt.
A patch of pretty purple flowers spotted while on a walk
It is good having someone else to cook a meal. Love your little quilt!
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to go out for lunch - and the bonus of more sewing time! The potato chip top is looking great. xx
ReplyDeletePerfect timing for Christmas in July, creating more stitching time. I like your potato chip block.

I must try some Potato Chip blocks - I've done crumb blocks and I can't say I like them much.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to have an excuse not to cook!
Lunch looks yummy! Glad that they gave you the perfect excuse for bonus time in the sewing room. Looks like you made great use of the time too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your PURPLE progress with the TABLE SCRAPS Challenge, Karen. Congrats on your quilt finish!
