You can be lucky.....

Some days.    When sewing on the binding after the power was restored I was wondering how the patchwork binding would meet up at the end and I could  not believe my luck when the same piece met equally distant each side.

So this one can now be counted as a finish and my December OMG reached. 

It is a good feeling to have cleared my sewing room of any unfinished items before the year end and ready to start 2022 with a clean slate.    

Thank you Patty for organising and motivating us during the year.    Looking forward to sewing along with you again next year.    

A blueberry slice was made to enjoy with a coffee for morning tea.


I would like to wish you all a very happy and safe Christmas and enjoy whatever way you celebrate the season with family and friends.   Hubs and I are going to spend the day with Miss M and her parents and my parents will also be joining with us.

    That is fabulous that your binding met with the same fabrics. I do not think I have ever done that when using scrappy binding. Your quilt is gorgeous. And the blueberry dessert looks yummy. Have a very Merry Christmas

    Congratulations on the binding match-up AND a clean sewing room with no leftover projects. That is a feeling I don't think I'll ever enjoy. Hope you had a lovely Christmas!

    By the way, I forgot to mention that is is pretty amazing that the binding ended up in that same spot with the same fabric. I love it!
