FNwF

As the cold wind blew and has been doing so for the past 2 weeks it was time to make an early start in my sewing room to keep warm and cosy.     I was making good progress with my bedrunner but did stop off to make the big girl quilt for Miss M so back to the bedrunner.     All pinned and marked out for quilting

In the machine and ready to go

I decided to quilt diamonds and triangles using my walking foot and now I have the boring task of pulling through the threads, tying off and burying them.

Thanks Cheryll for hosting another FMwF.

Now that I am so close to getting this one finished I have decided to make it my OMG for July.

Back soon with some photos of the completed bedrunner and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

I guess I'm just lazy. I use back stitching to start and stop - very small. I don't have enough time left in life to tie and bury them. LOL However, your table runner is absolutely beautiful. You can't beat blue and any other color with it.

Love the colours of the bedrunner. I seldom machine quilt as I can't be bothered putting the walking foot on and pullingthrough those threads . With a larger project like yours it makes sense. I think I'm just a bit lazy lol.

I bet it will be worth all the work the fun part and the tedious part when it is finished. I've only ever stitched in the ditch but I am looking forward to doing a bit more for my next quilt.
