Southern Highlands Escape

Hubs and I had a few days away in the southern Highlands of NSW with some members of the "old gang".    We have been friends with them for over 50 years.

This is where we stayed  during our time away

And some of the beautiful lush green countryside and waterfalls

It was a lovely relaxing time away and the hardest decisions were where and what to eat.    That is what I call a holiday - not having to think about what to cook for a meal, preparing and cleaning up afterwards.

I did however suffer "withdrawal symptoms" from my sewing machine and luckily for me it was FNwF last night.   I had time after getting home and sorting out washing etc to make a little Easter bunny treat bag for Miss M which satisfied that need to sew.

I heard that Easter bunny will be filling it with small chocolate eggs and jelly beans.

Thanks Cheryll for organising FNwF again.

Linking with Oh Scrap.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

Hmm ..... our trip away on hold whilst roof/ceiling is repaired after TC Debbie, however your break away sounds just right! Had to smile when you said you had withdrawal symptoms from your sewing machine, should be like me, and take it with you - oops, forgot, you only have the car, not a van where you can hide it under the bed! Love the little bunny bag, do you have a pattern for it by any chance?

What a lovely getaway! And I agree--there's nothing better than someone else doing all the cooking and cleaning up!

She will love the sweet bunny!
