Something bigger than 2 1/2" squares

Time for a break from working with small squares and QST blocks which are now all trimmed and look like this

And move onto making a pair of sleep shorts for hubby.    It is hard finding suitable fabric for a male other than stripes and checks  so when I saw this print last week while shopping I grabbed it.  He can dream of drifting off to sleep in a sailboat.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

Good for you getting all the small squares done. And I AM telling my hubby because I hate his current sleep shorts.

Bigger than 2.5" squares?! What's the fun in that??? :P
It's AMAZING how much faster larger pieces to together. It now feels totally foreign to me when making a 12.5" quilt block!

I always dread the trimming step. Looks like you are ready to put those blocks to work!
