During the week there was time to cut out nightie number 2 and make a start on sewing it up. After doing what needed to be done yesterday morning I was able to get the bodices sewn to the skirts.
Then it was onto adjusting the gathers on the two tiers of the twirly dress and attaching them to the bodice.
What is left to do is hem all three garments, finish off the necks and armholes, insert a zip in the dress and work out how I am going to finish off the fronts of the nighties. The pattern uses ribbons but I am hesitant to as I think that they will be forever coming undone so maybe buttons with loops. Something to think about.
Before I head off pop on over to
Gone Stitchin' to see what others achieved last night.
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy
sewing all

Great time sewing for FnwFs..Such pretty nighties and twirly dress. Yes I think buttons and loops on the nightie bodice would be good.
Lovely, lovely, lovely. I used to have a girl who loved a twirly dress... but now tween-dom has arrived. Have a lovely weekend x
