As we all know 2021 has been a difficult year with many restrictions imposed on our daily lives. Life as we knew two years ago has changed dramatically and we have had to adapt to new ways on how things happen in order to keep safe yet keep the "wheels turning" so to speak.
Earlier in the year Hubs and I made a move from the family home of 45 years to an over 55's complex and could not be happier.
Looking back on my sewing over the last 12 months I note that during the months of March, April and May nothing happened due to that move.
Some of my favourite posts include the cutest containers knows as podlets.
Two custom made placemats for our kitchen bench.
And who does not love Sunbonnet Sue no matter what she is doing
One of my goals for the year was to have a go at scrappy applique and I am pleased to say that this achieved.
And last but not least is a tablemat using pink scraps which was the rainbow scrap colour for January.
Happy sewing all

Congratulations on your move and the cute projects you completed during the year! I know the challenges you faced, as we moved over the summer. Hoping you are all settled, as we haven't quite managed that yet!
You were still very creative in spite of the moving process. Looking forward to seeing all you do in 2022!
You got some lovely sewing projects done even with the challenges... it's wonderful you have settled so well in your new place.

Really not sure what I finished in the last year..... You did ok considering your big move.....
A big decision to sell your family home and move to 55 retirement unit so I’m really pleased it worked for you both….
You got some lovely projects competed through the year and you forgot all those wonderful things you made over the year for the hospital stalls….
Best wishes for 2022.
You certainly made a lot of lovely things during the year. No doubt you have many more projects in mind for the coming year too.
These are all beautiful finishes and congrats on the move! Thanks for linking up and Happy New Year!
This is a fantastic summary of your year. I think it would be so sad to leave my family home of so many years. New adventures and change is good though.
Such fun finishes amidst some big life changes!
