My quilting pupil is progressing well with her blocks. Well on the way to getting them sewn together.
Originally she was tatting flowers for the middle of each large white square but has since changed her mind to tatting snowflakes instead. There are still 15 more to make.
I am still playing around in the red scrap pile and made this pot holder for the giftie box.
I am going to have a quick lunch then head off and collect Miss M who is going to say with us for a few days. Hopefully the weather stays fine so we can enjoy the beach, swimming in the pool and scooting around the lake.

Back soon and in the meantime stay safe and
Happy sewing all

Oh wow! They will be gorgeous inside the Irish chain quilt!
It is probably enjoyable to teach someone your talents.
Your pupil is doing very well - must be the expert tuition - and how gorgeous are the snowflakes?
Crazy shopping times - enjoy your visitor.
Well done passing your knowledge to another quilter
Goodluck with the groceries.... No issues here really...... Wow you are going well with your student..... Lovely quilt...... Enjoy your granddaughter.....
the quilt will be gorgeous.... aargh these shortages are crazy especially the testing kits since that is what the powers that be want us to use (not that I need personally at the moment). we will need to do an expidition today

Your students quilt will be beautiful…
Nice pot holder for your giftie box….
Enjoy having your GD, careful while out and about.
Your pupil is going really well, will be a beautiful quilt.
Great pot holder, enjoy your grand daughter.
Lovely projects there. I don't understand how RATs can be used when they have a high incidence of inaccuracy. Anything else with that failure rate would not be allowed to be sold. Good luck finding some, I think they are as rare as hens teeth lol. Enjoy time with Miss M. Keep safe.
great potholder and a fun way to use the red!
Those tatted snowflakes will look amazing.
Beautiful quilt, you are both talented, and those snowflakes will turn the top into a pretty quilt!
Thank you for sharing, and linking up ;)
Great too, snowflakes too. Have a wonderful day.
Nice RED addition to the giftie box!
Your "student" is working away wonderfully...& RED is always fun to work with...xox
love that fabric for a pot holder. Your placemats are great to, I made one set for my table, keep thinking I will make a set for all six of my kids!
