A lot has been happening in the sewing room due to the constant rain that has been falling. The view from our bedroom balcony over the past weeks has been this
So while all this has been happening outside I was inside my sewing room, warm and dry, beavering away finishing off a few items that should have reached the finish line a while ago but have not. First up a blue bib
Then two red bibs
Some pinning. As you can see in the photo below I decided to "birth" this quilt. Something I have not done before.
Then some quilting happened
A break in the weather allowed me to run out and photograph the finish
Next finish is 3 green beanies
20 assorted coloured library bags had their casings sewn
Some bobbin winding happened
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy sewing all

Good to read you are keeping safe dry and warm in your sewing room.
WOW you sure did sew up a storm with all those finishes as well as the knitted beanies…
Join you later. 👍
And as you proved very well, good weather for sewing and crafting.
You have been super productive Karen!
The perfect way to deal with rainy weather.
I have to ask, what do you mean by 'birth' your quilt? I haven't heard that before.
you certainly made the most of the wet weather..... love that little blue bib - so pretty and great new quilt...

Wow! The waterfall is looking spectacular. Perfect weather to hide in your sewing room. Well done on all you have accomplished. I love the bibs.
More gorgeous projects. Is it possible to send me the beanie pattern you use? I did not have beanies turn out very well in the past....years ago, and would like to knit some for charity.
beanies and bibs adorable!!
