Just as many restrictions that were imposed on us due to COVID were being relaxed 17 cases popped up overnight in my local Council area which in turn has caused the health authorities to ask the residents of the northern beaches to get tested if showing symptoms or have been to certain venues and fortunately for hubs and I neither of us are feeling unwell nor have we visited those venues listed. It has also been requested that residents of the area do not leave their homes for the next three days unless really necessary and especially keep away from crowded places such as gyms, places of worship and entertainment venues.
So my plans for today had to be cancelled but looking on the bright side I was able to make an early start on the last FNSI for the year and finished off my blue fabric basket. Using up those never ending scraps was one of my WOOFA challenges for the year. I now have a total of 4 finished fabric baskets with 5 more colours to go. I will have a break from 2 1/2" squares for a while and pick that project up again next year. Thanks Cheryll for moving us along during the year.
Happy sewing all

Yes...we all thought we were out of the woods... but alas...someone needed a wake up call.
Hope it gets under control quickly. Stay safe in the meantime.
Lovely having you in the WOOFA group. I hope to see you next year again...
Merry Christmas xox
I’m glad you hadn’t been to any of the venues. Let’s hope they keep the outbreak contained and snuff it out quickly, so you can get back to being a social butterfly. You are fortunate that you have plenty to keep you amused at home and are getting some bonus stitching done. Lucky Miss M will be even get an additional Christmas gift. Bonus.
Oh no best you do stay home. I didn't realise you lived in the Covid zone...
Thankfully in the West we've stayed well BUT it doesn't take much for that to change.
Another great basket and the clothes for Miss M will be sweet.
Very frightening to be having cases again. Hopefully quick reaction will keep it contained. Love your fabric baskets and sweet sewing. Take care xx
Poor you - stuck at home again - but you're making the most of it.
We can only hope that soon we can get this bug under control...though it seems a way off yet.
Merry Christmas
Oh dear here it goes again, good to hear you have not been out in any of the suspect places. So good you have sewing projects tombe going on with. Keep safe.
What a wonderful way to use up scraps. It looks like it will be really handy for shopping trips.
Sorry to hear about the latest restrictions being imposed again. Good job on your scrap basket!
The scrap basket is lovely. Hope your Covid restrictions don't last long.
Merry Christmas and
Beautiful fabrics for your grand daughter. Keep safe and well.
