FNSI

Thanks Wendy for organising the first FNSI of 2017 and despite the fact that the weather has not been conducive to much sewing lately due to the constant heat wave that has been hanging over us I did make a start on my new tote bag using the pretty cat fabric that I was gifted during last year.

As you can see there is still a lot left to go - the lining needs to be cut and sewn as well as the handles and looking at the weather forecast for the next few days there will not be much sewing done again. If you would like to see what all the other crafty people achieved please pop over to Sugarlane Designs and you will not be disappointed.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

The bag is going to be gorgeous with that cat fabric! Hope you get a little relief from the heat soon. PS Love how your cirles are looking - what a mammoth project!

The cat fabric is darling, and this is going to be such a cute tote! I hope your heat wave breaks and more reasonable temperatures come in.

Cute cat fabric and a great start on your tote but oh, isn't it hard to sew and stitch when it is so very hot?
