FNwF

During the week the overlocker and I spent sometime together

And last night when joining in with FNwF saw the 50th bag go through.

While this was happening the audiobook "Stay Awake" was playing in the background.   Quite an appropriate title as it was boring just sewing the same fabric and doing the same process 50 times.

Next step in the production line is to sew the casings and then thread the drawstrings through.   That won't be happening just yet as Miss M coming to stay with us for the last week of the school holidays.

The new book club book was issued during the week.  From reading the backcover it sounds like an interesting read.

This slice  has not been made by me before - coconut and lemon slice - it sounded good when reading the recipe and looks OK but I guess the proof will be when it is given the taste test.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

Wow! You got a lot done! I took 5 steps forward and 10 steps backward and then spent the afternoon with my seam ripper....nothing to show for all that time! Those coconut lemon slices look SO GOOD! My sweet tooth is calling for them! Have a great week.

What are library bags? Or they just bags that the library gives away? Or are they specifically for books?

You were very productive Karen. Did the slice taste good?

Listening to an audio book is a great idea when you are working on a mundane task. The coconut / lemon cake sounds delish. You'll have to let us know if you like it.

I knew you would get them all done. Have fun threading the draw strings through lol. I thought Miss M might help you. I haven't listened to audio books but I have listened to podcasts when on the sewing machine.

You have made so many. It sounds like you are getting close now with the draw strings.
