Each member of my quilting group was given 5 x 5" squares plus 1 strip 2 1/2" x 36" to make anything that you like so a hot pad was made. 4 of the 5 squares were used on the front
And the remaining 5" square was used on the back with the strip being used as a border and hanging loop.
It will be interesting to see what the others in the group have come up with for this challenge.
This was the perfect project to work on last night when joining in Christmas in July FNSI no 2 for this month.
I have also managed to finish off three beanies over the course of the last few weeks. These are for a 1 to 2 year old.

Very clever use of 5" squares and strip.
Those beanies will keep some lucky littles warm in winter. You do such nice work and are always getting lots done. Nice use of 5" squares.
