The challenge from Carol was issued
Make something to use for a picnic (quilt, basket, tote etc)
And no picnic is a picnic without food especially a rosy red apple or juicy pear and of course an iced chocolate cupcake. These pot holders have now been put into by giftie box.

Lovely pot holders. Those would be great even for a child's gift as a learning toy.

You can never have too many potholders and these are darling! They will definitely be a much-appreciated gift!
What fun that is! Even on a picnic, there are hot things to grab, and dishes that need to sit on a pad, so it's a great picnic project, and great for the gift box, too. Thanks for sharing the idea. CQ4Fun for this hop.
Very cute. :-)
Such cute potholders! I just came from Deonn's blog, who also posted in this blog hop. Fun to see everyone's summery picnic projects.
