Taking a break from quilting the big girl bed quilt I decided to have a play with my May circles. I had fallen behind by about a week so time to catch up.
I have now completed five months worth of blocks which are all piled up ready to be trimmed.
Time to go find scraps for this months colours for the Rainbow scrap challenge which are blues tending toward aqua along with a pop of lime green. I could think of one fabric straightaway that I had and surprisingly I found a few more that fit the bill.
Some of these fabrics will need fussing cutting in order to try and keep as close to possible to the colours. But that is for another day.
The sewing party is going all weekend and if you would like to join in the fun and help celebrate Chookshed's 4th birthday it is not too late to sign up over here.

Great group of blues you have gathered together for next month. It's fun to see those little piles of circles add up isn't it?
I hope you haven't been affected by the storms! You have a great collection of circles there!!
Well done! You kept up this month, which is more than I've been able to do! I like your blues and greens for the RSC, that should make for some nice blocks.

Attending Chooky's party sounds like a good choice with all that nasty weather happening outside. Your circle project looks great - and you'll be feeling pleased with catching up!
You are doing really well with the circles...Love the motivation of Chooky having a party.

Your circles look great, very intrigued with what you are making
The white makes your circles look clean and fresh.
