Some of you will remember that there was a link up to show off our finished 365 daily circle quilts at the beginning of the month with a prize or two being offered and I am delighted to say that my blog was chosen by Mr Random generator and this is what was won.
Thanks goes to Audrey at Quilty Folk for organising a fun project and posting my prize half way around the world.
It was such a beautiful autumn day and a delight to spend sometime in the garden. There is a pumpkin vine which has become rather unsightly over the last few weeks so it was time for it to come out - just as I was about to give it a good yank I spotted the cutest little pumpkin which had formed in one of the flowers.
Needless to say that my hand quickly drew back and I will be watching "my baby" develop over the coming weeks. Hopefully homegrown pumpkin soup will be on the menu in the not too distant future.
There are a few ideas running around my head for the next project and now that my sewing room is tidy and ready to go there will be stash sorting happening over the next few days.
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy

Congrats on your win and pumpkins which I can't seem to grow :)
I need to do some major tidying, but something else always attracts my attention. Congrats on your win--it's always fun to get something "stitchy" in the mail!
Congrats on your lovely win. Good luck with keeping your sewing room clean and tidy. Once I start a new project mine always gets messy again. Mmmm, pumpkin soup sounds yummy.
I love how I feel after I tidy my sewing area, I just wish I was better at keeping it tidy once it is clean.
My sewing area probably looks like yours did before the cleaning. And oh boy, those threads all over the carpet are a mess! One of these days I'll do a vacuuming and put things away. Good for you on getting it done before the next project!
Hi, just wanted to tell you, I enjoyed this article.
It was inspiring. Keep on posting!
