QSTs

The next clue on the mystery train ride is for 48 QST blocks and  when doing multiples of something I like to get a "production line" going.   As you can see from the picture below the production line consists of those blocks half sewn and waiting to be pinned at the front of the picture, those already pinned and awaiting to go through the machine and those blocks that have been pinned and chained pieced.

I have been working on and off on these blocks since Saturday and all 48 of them are now through the machine,  snipped apart, pressed and ready  to be trimmed.  That is a job for another day.

The third and final clue was given over the weekend and I was going to be good and not peak but curiosity got the better of me and I had to look at the end result.    I was amazed that 4 patch blocks and QST blocks when sewn in a certain sequence could look  as good as they do.   That is also a job for another day.

Back soon and in the meantime
Happy sewing all

Your QSTs look perfect. This is getting interesting. Do you know what the final quilt will look like yet?
