Can you guess

What these are?

These were my project this afternoon for FNwF.

As mentioned in a previous post I have been working over the last few weeks on sewing some items for the hospital auxiliary Mothers' Day stall next Friday.    Firstly some purse tissue holders and small snap top bags.

Some drawstring bags

A few pot holders

The lavender parasols that were previously shown

Did you guess what was shown in the first photo?

I saw the bookmark idea while browsing around Pinterest and thought it a novel idea.   I know many people read on a device these days but there are still many of us who like to hold a book and turn the pages.  They were very quick to sew up and used up some of those smaller scraps that have been around for quite sometime.   I am constantly amazed at what can be made out of leftovers.

Thanks Cheryl for another fun night.   Head on over here to see what else was achieved by others.

Linking with So Scrappy

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

You have a really nice selection ready for selling. I love the lavender sachets. Being an avid reader of real books, I think the bookmark is really clever. Is there a pattern for those?
