Every little chef needs...........

An apron so over the last week I have been busy sewing some for the next hospital auxiliary stall.   I originally made 2 to see how they would sell and they did quite quickly.   These are the first two

I then made another two and they sold just as quickly.

The co-ordinator of the stall asked if I could make about 6 for the next stall and here they are

It is a very easy pattern to sew and even easier for young children to get on and off.    My experience is that young ones like to get into something quick and get out of it even quicker which can be achieved by having no strings that need to be tied.    It is easily slipped over the head and secured around the waist with the strap coming around the back and has Velcro on the side.    Here is the back view.

Now that they are finished I can no longer put off cutting my fabric for the orange log cabin blocks.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all
