Since signing up for this blog hop "circumstances of life" have changed around here at the moment and sewing time has been severely limited so instead of pulling out of the hop I decided to revisit a previous item made that I think will fit in perfectly with the theme. I made a series of Sunbonnet Sue wallhangings to represent each month of the year for my granddaughter's bedroom a few years ago and the one for November was called "Seaside Sue". November is the month that we in Australia start to think about heading back to the beach as summer in only a month away.
Time to head on over to the following blogs to see more Salt and Sand.

Thank you Carol for organising such a fun blog hop.
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy sewing all
There is something endearing about all the Sunbonnet Sue designs. Yours is lovely. Happy Stitching from me.
Sunbonnet Sue is such a cute design and I scrolled down and read your previous post- good luck with the move!
sweet block... I have always liked sunbonnet Sue's... happy packing!
Lovely, no worries about not having time to sew. An oldie is still a goodie to us!! Thanks so much for participating. Hope you have a nice time.
Hope that things are soon better for you. The Sunbonnet Sue is darling. I made my granddaughter the full-size bed quilt back in 2015.
Love sunbonnet Sue and this one is perfect for the hop! Glad you didn't pull out of the hop, and hope you get more sewing time soon xx

Very cute Sue in the sand. I hope your life takes a turn for the better down and gives you time to sew again soon. Thank you for taking time to join us in the hop ... :) Pat
You found a very creative way to participate in the hop. Isn't that something quilters do most of the time? Good luck with the move. Thanks you for sharing.
Sun bonnet Sue is perfect for your Sand And Salt blog hop...
Sue by the Sea is such a sweet stitched wall hanging. How fun to have one for each month of the year. It is always fun to revisit previously made works and be reminded of the enjoyment of stitching at that time.
So glad you thought to share this great piece with us. She perfectly fits the theme. I really like the sea shells on the beach and then there is her super hat. It's all in the details. Hope life gets back on track for you soon.
I'm sorry you've had some life moments that stop you from sewing, but I am so grateful that you shared something for us. Your Sun Bonnet Sue is adorable and really makes me want to hit the beach soon. Thank you, Karen, and I hope life gets a little calmer for you. xo
What a lovely piece. I love the use of seaside fabrics throughout. It's funny for me to think of November as beach weather, as that's when it starts to snow for me in Canada :D.
She is a cutie. A simple change of décor like switching out a small wall hanging is my kind of decoration. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing your sunny beach Sue with us!

I’m glad you didn’t pull out of the hop. If you had we wouldn’t have seen your sweet Seaside Sunbonnet Sue. Thank you for sharing and good luck sorting real life out 😉
Seaside Sue is perfect. Hope things are ok.
Sunbonnet Sue always seems to enjoy herself in any setting.

Hope life calms down for you soon. The sweet beach ball fabric is so perfect for your Sunbonnet Sue. Cute!
I love your Sue, sending well wishes.
Sunbonnet Sue is perfect for sand and beach even though November isn't right here in the Northern Hemisphere. I have another friend in the southern hemisphere and it's such fun to see that we're just the opposite with the seasons. Get out there again before it's way too cold to enjoy!!!
Cute bathing beauty!
Lovely Sun bonnet Sue, ready for the beach.
Awesome back up plan. The Sunbonnet Sue is cute.
