A little bit of this and a little bit of that

Caught up with the blue scraps - last month's  RSC colour - during the week and they now look like this.

Once they were put aside it was onto to making some pot holders for the Hospital Auxiliary Stall.  The last one was sold  a couple of weeks ago and stock needed to be replenished.  These had been "production lined" during the week and only needed to be top stitched last night when joining in with  FNSI.

The Auxiliary has a couple of Christmas stalls coming up during November/December so with that in mind some Christmas fabrics were pulled to make tablerunners.

I  finished reading this book and even though I did guess the storyline at the beginning it did not stop me from enjoying the book and would certainly recommend it.   Set in the 1950's in a small town on the NSW coast the mystery woman tries to start a new life away from the glitz and glamour of Sydney and an affair that she had with a politician.

A batch of apple, coconut and cinnamon muffins were made and enjoyed with a cup of coffee.

Chooky put up a post during the week letting the Chookshed Stitchers know that there was a need for "a sewing fix" to be had via Zoom on Saturday.   I had been debating whether to shop on Friday or Saturday so the decision was made for me.....shop yesterday, stitch and Zoom today.  No better way to spend a gloomy day than in the sewing room with chatter and laughter.

I used the time while chatting to sew green scraps - this months RSC colour - together for the next batch bibs.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

Good to see you in Zoom. And great to see that you have your mojo back. It deserved a break after the big stall preparations.
