The challenge for this blog hop is to
Create something to do with MUSIC.
Do you have a song that inspires you or a tune you listen to when you sew?
Do you love a particular instrument or know someone who does?
Maybe something, anything, is music to your heart.
Does your Mary have a lamb?
Do you ave music fabric you need to use?
You decide!
The theme is really your own interpretation, surprise us!
After giving the above much thought my sewing machine is music to my heart. I find the sound of the sewing machine as it hums along a repetitive and constant beat as the fabric is fed through from the front to the back of the machine and on its way to a completed item. Next time you are sitting at your sewing machine turn off all distractions such as tv, radio, podcasts etc and just listen to the "music" that your machine is playing. So with this thought in mind it was fitting that something should be made to represent my "muscial instrument". This is a good size pouch which holds various bits and pieces to take to my sewing groups.
Thank you Carla for organising another fun blog hop and now it is time to head on over to the blogs listed below to see what their interpretation of Music is.
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy sewing all

Interesting you think the hum of the machine is music my hubby often says it’s not. 😀
I think that's why the Singer company named their machines "Singers", right?? I feel the same - it's music to my ears. That's a darling pouch, and I love the little red sewing machine.
You are so right that the sewing machine is music!! Thanks for the smiles. I love your tiny red machine. I wish our sewing machines were like Kitchenaid mixers and could be bought in all different colors. Wouldn't that be nice!?? Unless...we felt the need to collect every color. Ok, never mind!! Thanks for the inspiration.
Cute pouch and thanks for the reminder of one of the things we love most!
You are "right on" about your sewing machine being music! Thanks for sharing your cute pouch and your music!
Brilliant! You are so right, I may not be musical, but I can play my machine. Cute pouch - love the colors you chose.
You're absolutely right. Sometimes in the silence we can hear the music from our sewing rooms. Even the needle going into the hooped fabric in hand embroidery or the scissors cutting fabric
Yes, there's nothing better than the hum of the sewing machine - it's therapeutic! Your little pouch is perfect for all those doodads that need to travel along to sew groups!
Such a fun story and project.
Cute pouch, thanks so much for sharing!
I think you have hit the nail on the head, with your project. As quilters we all find our machines, music to our hearts!
Yes, our sewing machines are really music for our hearts and souls sometimes. Love that pouch!
What a clever interpretation of "music" and your pouch represents it so well!
I agree that the sound of the sewing machine is music to my ears. What a great idea to make a pouch to remind you of the sound of the SM.
Such a fun project and a great interpretation of your fave musical instrument.
What a wonderful interpretation of the theme. My husband loves hearing the sewing machine, it means I am in my happy place!
I certainly agree that our sewing machines are music to us! I LOVE your pouch!
Lovely pouch. This would be perfect to take to retreats or those frequent fabric shop trips! I love the music my own sewing machine makes. It certainly makes me happy.
What a good thought!
So true. I particularly like listening to my machine as I do appliqué. Rather soothing. Your pouch is rather cute and perfect for small projects.
Great interpretation of music.... and I love the little pouch - you can always find something that needs to be in a pouch...
Hugz
Your pouch is a great interpretation of a musical instrument. Very cute.
What a wonderful idea for a useful pouch, AND a creative interpretation of music, too.
That little pouch is great! I too believe our machines definitely are music to our ears and hearts! Thanks for sharing your interpretation of the theme!
