A few weeks before Christmas during one of the severe summer storms which hit Sydney quite a few big branches on one of the gum trees near us came down and it was discovered that the tree was dying so it was deemed necessary to be removed which happened during the week. Being such a large tree called for a crane to be brought in. You can see the tree lopper high up in the tree in his orange gear.
The job is almost done
The last cut was made and the huge truck is being lift up.
After all the excitment of watching the tree lopper and crane operator in action time to return to the sewing room and tooth fairy pillows were made.
When joining in with FNwF the cutting out of a couple of cross body bags happened.
I hate to admit it but the pile of stuff on my sewing table seems to be mounting up. Somewhere in there are green strips waiting to be sewn together for this months RSC blocks. Hopefully they will surface soon.
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy sewing all

You are not alone with having a pile of things mounting up to be worked on!! haha... fun watching how they get on with that lovely big tree - it will seem a different view for you now

Cute Tooth Fairy pillows and a lovely idea.
So good to have the huge gum removed safely.
Cute Tooth Fairy bags.
Many of us have a table like that in the sewing room!
Piles of stuff means you are being very productive. Lots of lovely projects happening. Glad the dangerous tree has gone.
It would have been fascinating watching the tree removal, but a shame it had to go. Better to have a chaotic sewing table being used than a clean one not being used. You’re going well with your stall prep.
That was a huge tree - I bet you miss it though. I agree with Janice - "Better to have a chaotic sewing table being used than a clean one not being used"
