First sewing lesson

When Miss M was visiting last time I had to let down  the hems on  a few of her winter pants - she is having another growth spurt that 2 year olds tend to have on a regular basis - so out with the sewing machine and she was fascinated by the needle going up and down and backwards.    Maybe a future sewist in the making.

I had time during the week to cut, sew and trim up my blues tending to aqua with a hint of lime green 9 patch blocks that I am making for the Rainbow Scrap challenge.     A few other "hues" were added to the mix!

I have quite a collection of 9 patch blocks now for the Rainbow Challenge and they are looking rather pretty altogether.    I am looking forward to seeing what next months colours are.

Linking with Oh Scrap.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

Those are beautiful! Perfect colors for June in the RSC. And such a cute sewing student, too -soon she'll be making her own quilt!

Miss M is so cute. She reminds me of my eldest 30 years ago! She had the same curly blonde hair and the chubby cheeks. Your 9 patch colour selection reminds me of the sea.
