I have enough bits and pieces of the different border fabrics left over to make a small mat for the middle of the table as well as 6 drink coasters. My aim is to get those small items done within the next couple of days as I have a very good friend staying with us for a few days next week and it will be nice to have the "matching set" to use....no pressure here.

Your placemats look wonderful Karen! You have some nice ideas to complete your set. I've joined FNSI for the first time, but I'm going to be working on my sewing after supper ... still Friday evening here in Canada!
