After making the first one I found that it was much easier to use a long zip, sew it in then bring the head of the zipper to the middle of the bag, sew across the zip at both ends and cut the zip to fit. So much easier than trying to lift the machine foot past the head of the zip in the middle of the bag.
The charms on the end of the zips are those that I purchased at the recent craft fair.

what pattern did you use--I am totally in fear of any zipper installation, but would like to make pouches...hugs, Julierose
Hi Karen those pouches are so cute ,you are making me want to make some when I get back home, lol, well done my friend xx
Those pouches are lovely. Anything with a zip is not easy in my book LOL.
That zipper technique is so simple but such a headache saver. Love the little pulls. I have a wallet with tiny pull and a friend made me a beaded pull, such a big difference, especially if you're in a rush at a store.
What lovely pouches - and what a great idea for left over materials x
