FNwF

Being the first Friday night of the month means FNwF and having not been back in the sewing room much since my stall this was the perfect opportunity to get back into it.    A good start was made on the red and green apple shaped pot holders that are destined for my giftie box.

The leaves were appliqued onto all six potholders and the stalks - the hanging loops - were cut, sewn and stitched in place as well.

Hop on over to Cheryll's blog and see what others achieved last night.

We do not get to see the sun very often these days in fact this year so far has been declared our wettest year on record and extreme weather with widespread flooding has been forecast for today so when we woke to a lovely sunny morning on Monday hubs and I went on a drive to North Head.   Judging by the traffic that we drove through in and around Manly everyone else was out and about taking advantage of the sunny day and public holiday.     It was interesting watching the pilot boats leading the cargo ship out through the heads.

The book that I am currently reading is certainly proving to be a "page turner".

Is anyone else having problems uploading photos via the insert image icon on blogger?     I have had to go to my photo files and do the cut and paste trick followed by a few clicks of the mouse to get the photos to appear!!!!!!   Very frustrating, time consuming and annoying.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

You made good progress. It is fascinating watching the ships. Don’t you hate it when Blogger won’t play.

You sewed up a storm Karen. I hope blogger fixes itself for you. I watched the tugs guide a ship into Geelong port last Thursday, was interesting to watch.

Good weather and a Public Holiday can create a crowd!
LOL

I've always used the "Upload from Computer" option to put my pictures into my blog posts . . .they did change that too and its nit as user-friendly but at least it still works.
