Playing Catch up

Last month the RSC colour was light blue and unfortunately nothing was done towards trying to empty the blue scrap bin but that was overcome this week when a start was made sewing blue slabs of fabric together to end up as bibs.

While these were being sewn up this e-book was keeping me company.  I have read many books by Alexander McCall Smith with The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series being my favourite however this is the first e-book of his that I have listened to.

In between heavy showers this week I managed to squeeze in a quick walk around the area and found this display of  gorgeous orchids.

Two more red beanies finished off

The photo below shows the tally of red beanies made so far and you will see that the ball of red wool does not appear to be shrinking.     It will be interesting to see just how many beanies end up being made from it.   Quite a bit more click and clack up and back from the knitting needles to come for a while.

Time to head off and make a start on the day.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

All very productive. Hmm, I wonder how many more hats you will make? That is a big ball of yarn.

It’s good you are now getting a chance to play catch up. Audio books are good company. That’s a lot of beanies from that one ball of wool. How big was it originally?

Wow! A lovely bunch of beanies there. Perhaps the red yarn is a bit like the magic pudding.

Very nice haul of beanies there. Those orchids are beautiful. I am yet to listen to an audible book xx

Looks like you will get a lot of beanies from that ball of wool, and I am also playing catchup tonight, by catching up on blog reading.
