When I received the email today reminding me that it is time to link up for February's OMG finish did I realise just how close we were to the end of the month. Having 2 or 3 days less than the other months brought the end up very fast. Yesterday I had all the strips cut and ready to sew together for the 4 yellow log cabin blocks so today's job after doing some shopping was to get them finished.
As mentioned in a previous post I thought that all the yellows looked "sameish in value" so a second dive into the scrap bins produced some yellow fabrics with a dash of red, green and blue which seems to give a bit of lift to the all yellow fabrics that were chosen before.

Hi Karen lovely happy yellow block, well done my friend xx
Four beautiful log cabin blocks, Karen! Great colours! Kisses, my friend.
This month flew by but we are all getting a lot done. Love the pops of other colors in the fabrics of your yelliw blocks
Your rainbow log cabin will look great, Karen. (I went back to see the red blocks you made last month.) I think the extra colors in some of the prints add a nice spark.
Love the happy yellow blocks. Please don’t say February is over, though. I’m still hoping to enjoy some yellow piecing this coming week. :)
Log Cabin blocks look good in just about any color as you've shown us. I like the variety in your prints.
I,too, like the fabric with the little pops of color! Well done!
They look so good in yellow. Of course they do!
Wonderful log cabins, loving those little extra 'pops' of colour too!
