My new toy

While doing some research on the net as one does from time to time - all too often - I found a small pouch with a kam snap fastener and thought it was time to invest in some snaps and the snap tool.    A friend at my quilting group was also interested in adding to her collection of snaps so we ordered the package and divided  the snaps between us.

Of course I had to try it out today and this is what was made. Here is the outside

And here is the inside.

I like the double pouch but will experiment with a couple of other designs in the future.   The snap press was very easy to use - it did not require any strength in the wrist area to exert the pressure needed to push the snaps into place.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all
