Where has the past year gone????

Hubs and I celebrated our first anniversary in our new home yesterday.    We cannot believe that 12 months have gone by since moving day last year.  Of course this occasion had to be celebrated with a bottle of bubbles and a nibble or three.

We both decided that this was the best decsion that we could have made.     We love our new home, the gardens, easy access for hubs from the car to our apartment and the proxity to shops etc.

The orders for bowl cosies are still coming in.    One order was for three plus an entree plate size and this was subsequently  increased to 7 plus the plate one.    Here they are all stacked up and ready for delivery.

There are still 3 more on order but that person is in no hurry for them.    I plan to have them finished by the end of the coming week.

The lightweight bag that was ordered for an Ipad has also been completed and delivered.   I did put a pocket on the inside so she could access her phone easily.   The recipient was delighted with the result.

A new book was started

Another beanie is on the needles.

And the wine bottle gifts bags for the Spring Fair have been completed.

At the last stall I was asked if I had any adult aprons  - unfortunately the answer was no - but I will remedy that for the Fair and plan to cut out 6 over the coming week with these fabrics.

That about wraps up my week.

Back soon and in the meantime

Happy sewing all

I am in awe of all the projects you are getting completed. Even taking custom orders--which is commendable.
I've had fabric from my Mom's stash set aside to make aprons for myself and my sisters for about 6 months now, and it has gone nowhere! I need some of whatever you are taking for motivation.

Gosh! That time flew by. I’m glad it has proved to be the right move for you both. You’ve been very busy at the sewing room. Lots of people are going to be making their porridge and soup in the microwave this winter and your stall should be well stocked in spring.
