After all the heavy relentless rain over the past months the weather has cleared and we are having crystal clear cold nights
Which make for super Sydney sparkly sunshine days. Hubs and I met up with friends for lunch at a venue on Sydney Harbour earlier in the week to enjoy the view and the lovely day.
Good timing to pull those beanies out of the cupboard and pack them up as they were being collected by the Far West Children's Home. These are the 12 that I have been knitting over the past few months and all up with there were just over 50 being donated from our knitting group.
Starting to cut out the fabrics for the churn dash blocks. Notice my lovely drawn cutting and sewing lines down the middle of each block.
Some not so nice words were muted under my breath and the unpicker put to work. All fixed up now and ready to sew the blocks together correctly.....hopefully!!!!!

Nice to see the sunshine at your house, I was just reading it is at Lou's house too. Good to hear your oops is fixed up, nothing more annoying!! Great effort with the beanies.
Looks like a beautiful day out...
Lots of beanies to keep little heads warm.
Hmmm! I think the Churn Dash SAL is jinked..
How nice to be able to enjoy the sunshine. The sun has come out here, but it is still cold. That is a great effort with the beanies. It sounds like we all had a few teething problems with our churn dash blocks. I’m sure it will go smoother from now on.
Beautiful location for a catch up with friends. Great job by you and your group on the beanies. They'll certainly helps keep some warm heads. Happy Churn-Dashing!
Some gorgeous days at the moment and stunning sunsets - good to get out and about when you can. well done to your group for all those beanies. Hmmmm, I would have said a few choice words sewing all that... chain piecing is all well and good when it's on the right line!

Just cannot beat Sydney Harbour!
Unpicking is so frustrating!
I enjoy your seaside/boat photo as that is something I never see in my dry, landlocked neck of the woods.
