Sunbonnet Sue
In keeping with my idea of making a Sunbonnet Sue for each month of the year for bub's door I decided that May should represent Mother's Day so Sunbonnet Sue has been out in the garden to pick a bunch of flowers and is on her way to hand them to her mother.

I love Sunbonnet Sue!!
When my daughter was young [35 years ago] I made her a cushion featuring Holly Hobbie who must have been a first cousin, or sister even, of Sue. Her twin friends loved it ... for their birthdays I made them one each. Twenty years later one of those girls came into my work place and informed me she still had hers!! Yes, I was more than a tad chuffed.

Ah, I see! You are using one pattern and changing it up each month. I'm a little slow on the uptake. =) What a great idea for a little girl's door!
