Pretty in Pink

A couple of weeks ago a start was made on sewing up some pink scraps into what looked like a brick wall but it was put aside while other bits and pieces were attended to.   I am pleased to announce that my "bricklaying" has been completed.

More  2 1/2" strips - this time pink and purple -  being pinned ready to quilt.

Hubs is making good steady progress on his COVID-19 project.    The dining room table now looks like this.

Boxes have been labelled and now the process of putting the photos into their respective slots is taking place.      Once that has happened a more refined sort will take place and then the job of scanning some of them onto the computer will begin.

Thanks Wendy for hosting another fun FNSI.

You've made an early start to FNSI and did finishing your Bricklayed quilt. It's pretty and will put a smile on a little girls face as will the next one you are making.

Great job hubby's done sorting the photos so far..

Love the colours of your pink quilt - so sweet and good on your husband sorting out the photos. Mine is just grumbling about really although he is mowing the lawn currently!

It looks like you have got lots done lately, during this lockdown time. The quilts are lovely. Well done on hubby getting through the photos - mine all need a good sort out too (both pre-digital and post!)

Great work with your bricklaying. That looks like a delightful quilt.
And it looks like you are well into the second one.
Sorting photos is also one of my tasks at the moment. I have also sent away to get some printed then posted to me. That should get me up to date.

You make quilts very quickly if you finished the pink bricks in a few weeks! Good for you. It looks great!
I'm curious to know how quickly the photo sorting is going. I'll have to do that one of these days and I'm afraid I'll spend more time looking at the photos than sorting them!

Your pink quilt is beautiful and the 2nd one has some lovely fabrics. You have made heaps of progress with the photos. I sat up for a couple of hours after midnight putting my overseas pics in albums. Only another 400 or more to do now lol. Can't rush these things...my trip was in 2015 lol.

So pretty. I tackled my scrap basket yesterday, sorting by size now I don't know what to do with them. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.
