I also cut some binding strips.
After doing some 'domestics' and seeing that it was too hot to be outside gardening and the pantry is quite well stocked with no shopping needed to be done an early start was made in the sewing room after lunch. I managed to get these rectangles sewn together, sandwiched and pinned ready for quilting. This one also used up some more light teal scraps.
I am going to turn this negative of the COVID-19 virus into an opportunity to do more sewing as more and more closures are enforced on us. All activities relating to the hospital auxiliary that I am a member of have been cancelled until further notice as is my quilting group. Fortunately hubs and I are in position where we are not overly exposed but are mindful as we go about our daily activities. I guess life as we knew it has changed but hopefully we can all pull together and get through this with common sense.
Thanks Wendy for hosting us again for another fun night of sewing and crafting.

I think a lot of us have plenty to do while being more housebound. Looks like you achieved a lot. Keep well and happy.
I think we are going to being seeing a lot of finishes in the next few weeks, which will be great for all of us.
Sew good to have heaps of time to do our sewing and also when weather permits out in the garden....
I also think we will all get lots of sewing done and MAYBE after this is over we won't have any UFOs.....
NIce work Karen... & yes quilters will never mind being forced to stay inside, will we...
Our sewing rooms will get a good work out...
Stay safe...xox
Very cute mini quilts there, Karen. I also like these rectangles in pretty fabrics. I am most envious of you getting into your garden. We are several weeks away yet but the snow is disappearing so soon. Meanwhile, we are self isolating as we are in the at risk category-old, so happy to have lots to amuse ourselves at home. Happy Stitching to you too!
Nice job on getting some of your light TEAL scraps sewn up this week!!
Nice job on your teal quilt. Nice to be spending time sewing. Very relaxing in spite of all the crazy stuff going on.
Nice job. I look forward to seeing the finished quilt.
This is a great time to indulge in extra sewing time. So glad that you are able to be productive.
Way to work that teal in! The quilt is really pretty. Love the scrappiness.
You were well occupied! Keeping a positive attitude will help us all!
Lovely work on your quilt. I am definitely following your lead and using this time to make a dent in some projects! x
