Here Comes the Sun

Living in the Land Down Under we are into the winter months and the thought of warmer weather with lots of sun would be great.   Time to sew up something to remind me of sunny days ahead and what better way to say sun than sunflowers.

I had an order for a bowl and matching dinner plate cosie.    Hopefully the sunflowers will brighten up the recipient's kitchen during the colder months.

Thank you Carol for organising another fun blog hop.     You can head on over to the blogs listed below to see more sunny items on display.

love your happy cosies..... mostly I see them with 4 corners (and that is what Ihave made) but yours have 5 and look much more practical as they fit around the bowl ....

Sunflowers always make me smile. I hope the folks who get the bowl cosies will get smiles as well. Have a great day.

I love sunflowers and having them in a bowl cozy is perfect for this hop. They are so pretty! We haven't hit our really hot temps yet, so we could still use those cozies for chili or soup. Thanks for sharing your sunny projects, Karen!

Great cozies. I need a plate cozy, I use the bowl ones all the time, and tend to flatten them out when I use a plat.

Sunflowers for all! I think they are everywhere this year. Sadly, I hurt my shoulder while on vacation trying to buy some of those beauties. I'll still love the yellow flowers even if it cost me big! You are smart to make something sunny for when the weather turns. We need the smiles all year long.

I always smile when I think of you girls just now getting into winter. Winter...! I have a friend in Tassie and her winter is perhaps like our fall temps. Your sunflower bowl cozies are perfect.
