Living in the Land Down Under we are into the winter months and the thought of warmer weather with lots of sun would be great. Time to sew up something to remind me of sunny days ahead and what better way to say sun than sunflowers.
I had an order for a bowl and matching dinner plate cosie. Hopefully the sunflowers will brighten up the recipient's kitchen during the colder months.
Thank you Carol for organising another fun blog hop. You can head on over to the blogs listed below to see more sunny items on display.
Karen's Korner you are here
Back soon and in the meantime
Happy sewing all
love your happy cosies..... mostly I see them with 4 corners (and that is what Ihave made) but yours have 5 and look much more practical as they fit around the bowl ....
These are fun and a bright sunny pop for the kitchen.
You seem to get quite a few orders to keep you busy.
Sunflowers are always so cheerful. xx
Who cannot smile when they see sunflowers? One of my favorite flowers. They are so sunshiny an cheerful.
Nothing nicer than cheery sunflowers....I am longing for warmer days and we aren't as cold up here x
Sunflowers always make me smile. I hope the folks who get the bowl cosies will get smiles as well. Have a great day.
Beautiful sunflowers will warm anyone's heart!
Your cozies are beautiful and definitely full of sunshine.
Very pretty cozies. Those fabrics are really bright and summery.
These would definitely brighten any space and I hope the recipient loved them.
I love sunflowers and having them in a bowl cozy is perfect for this hop. They are so pretty! We haven't hit our really hot temps yet, so we could still use those cozies for chili or soup. Thanks for sharing your sunny projects, Karen!
Great cozies. I need a plate cozy, I use the bowl ones all the time, and tend to flatten them out when I use a plat.
Cute cozies! This is still on my "to-do" list, but I procrastinate sometimes. Thankyou for sharing!
Lovely sunflower 🌻 cosies…..
Love sunflowers, love your cozies!
Sunflowers for all! I think they are everywhere this year. Sadly, I hurt my shoulder while on vacation trying to buy some of those beauties. I'll still love the yellow flowers even if it cost me big! You are smart to make something sunny for when the weather turns. We need the smiles all year long.
Very pretty cozies! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful cozies Karen.
Super sunny cozies.
I always smile when I think of you girls just now getting into winter. Winter...! I have a friend in Tassie and her winter is perhaps like our fall temps. Your sunflower bowl cozies are perfect.
Oooh I have that fabric! Great idea to use it for cozies.. and now is definitely the time for soup and cozies!! xx
They will be cheerful in her kitchen.
